Adolescent Counseling and Psychotherapy 

Adolescents typically thrive in structure and boundaries. However, adolescence is a period of transitions and change, which can disrupt healthy functioning and development. My approach to therapy involves helping adolescents build skills to cope during transitions. I encourage adolescents to process through adjustment periods and discover ways of proactively managing stress. Adolescents also thrive in an environment of mutual respect.  To this end, it is vital to develop trust and rapport with adolescents. My work with adolescents generally focus on:
